While hanging up this quilt to dry in the backyard, it attracted a passerby quilter from New Brunswick to wow over the intensity of the embroidery. Her words exactly: “I just have to come closer to see the intensity of the embroidery. Wow! And with cotton filling? Many needles would have been broken, no doubt.” I asked her what she meant? “Well”, she responded “3 layers of cotton fabric would always break needles for embroidery quilting”.
