Each rose and leaf is individually hand appliquéd — carefully shaped, turned under, and stitched into place by hand. The edges are secured with fine, even blanket stitching executed by skilled artisans, creating definition and structure without heaviness.

Then comes the magic: Trapunto.

Derived from the Italian word meaning “to embroider” or “to prick with a needle,” trapunto is often called “stuffed appliqué.” The rosebuds are gently padded from beneath, giving them a sculpted, dimensional quality. They rise subtly from the surface — soft, tactile, unmistakably handmade.
