Petit Point is always comprised of tiny, beautiful stitches worked on fine mesh needlepoint canvas (22 or more threads to the inch). Our canvas material is Silk gauze imported from France long ago. Traditional Tent stitches are slanted and work best on the stiff loosely woven canvas used in needlepoint. When worked for design motif of Roses and Rosebuds, they make the finished needlepoint strong and durable enough for these keepsake picture frames that get a lot of usage.

We design our unique and exquisite Picture Frames with a soft touch…a sensibility for the finer elegance of hand stitched needlework! It is All in the Details, the work of art is softly padded in white to accommodate the translucent silk gauze imported from France.
