Ribbon embroidery, sometimes called “rococo,” is one of the oldest forms of raised embroidery, and was much used in the 1800’s during Victorian era.
Our Ribbon embroidery tea cozy creates stunning embroidery that it results into an elegant heirloom item. As a wrap-around design, we use high-quality Ribbons for the linen material. It takes some practice, patience, and excellent embroidering skills to be proficient at our ribbon work design. The vibrant colored flowers add a nice touch to the vintage look.
It is All in the Details, the linen material is lined with cotton for longer wear. An elastic ring-like holder, again lined, will keep the cozy in place around the teapot. The bottom is strengthened with a hard board.
